As a Security Officer Patrol Morning Shift in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related concerns in a respectful, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entry points, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying visitor activity as directed, and reporting unauthorized or suspicious behavior.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and/or notable observations in required logs and reports, while communicating relevant updates to supervisors and onsite personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
