Responsible for recruiting and counseling prospective domestic and International students and general office duties. Provide leadership to other processes as necessary. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the academic, social, and spiritual composition of Belmont University in order to perpetuate the Belmont vision. Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment plan to increase numbers for domestic students from an assigned territory, as well as International students based overseas. Partner with key university offices in support of International recruitment. Manage the application review, admission, and yield of each year’s class of International students. Manage and leverage the use of financial aid resources for International student recruitment and yield. Understanding and experience with College Board ISFFA and COF documents. Educate the admission staff and campus community on matters impacting international students in the admission process and represents the undergraduate admission office to the campus community on matters related to International recruitment and admission. Responsible for domestic admissions counseling, recruiting, and general administrative duties for First-Year applicants from the geographical area in which assigned. Assist with all on-campus events. Leads information sessions on campus, participates in all scholarship interview days, and attends Preview Days and Be Belmont Day. Evaluate credentials of applicants to determine academic and personal compatibility with the goals and mission of Belmont University. Exercise knowledge of the financial aid programs available to Belmont University students and provide financial aid counseling to prospective students. Participate in the awarding of merit-based scholarships to admitted students deemed most qualified. Develop effective and on-going relationships with personnel of secondary schools. Participate in cross-functional improvement teams and initiatives. Assist Enrollment Services and other offices as assigned. Strong knowledge of international recruiting best practices. Knowledge of procedures for employment, change of visa status, reinstatement and other complex F and J authorizations and processes. Event planning and management experience required. Ability to work independently and excel at time management. This position requires frequent night and weekend responsibilities. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally. Ability to travel 20-30% of the time. Required Education. Bachelor's degree required. Required Experience.
