The Quantitative Analyst applies mathematical modeling, statistical inference, and data-driven methods to support decision-making across risk, pricing, and forecasting. This role builds and validates models, analyzes large datasets, and translates findings into actionable insights for cross-functional partners. The analyst collaborates with product, finance, and technology teams to improve strategies, optimize performance, and ensure robust methodological standards. Success requires strong technical proficiency, clear communication, and disciplined documentation. The position emphasizes reproducible workflows, stakeholder alignment, and adherence to governance for reliable, scalable analytic solutions.

Essential Job Skills/Duties
- Develop and validate quantitative models.
- Analyze complex, high-volume datasets.
- Design experiments and backtests for strategies.
- Translate findings into business recommendations.
- Prepare clear model documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills
- API Testing: Ability to verify APIs’ functionality, reliability, performance, data formats, authentication, error handling, and system compatibility.
- Performance Testing: Practice of testing systems under real-world conditions to identify bottlenecks and ensure speed, responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
- Defect Tracking: Process of recording, monitoring, and managing software defects, including reproduction steps, severity, ownership, and resolution status.
- Integration Testing: Method of testing combined software modules to ensure they function together and meet functional requirements before system testing.
- Regression Testing: Validation that system or software functionality and performance remain intact after updates or changes.
- Test Case: Defined set of conditions, inputs, and expected outcomes used to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis: Structured approach to identifying potential design failures, assessing their effects, and implementing mitigation strategies to improve safety, reliability, and quality.
- Root Cause Corrective Action: Approach for identifying underlying causes of issues and implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence and support continuous improvement.
- Security Testing: Evaluation of system security controls to identify vulnerabilities and ensure data protection, functionality, and integrity.

Required Education & Experience
- Degree in quantitative field.
- Experience building and testing models.

- Advanced degree in statistics or finance.
- Experience in financial services analytics.
- Experience with cloud-based data tooling.

Preferred Licenses/Certifications
- Professional credential in analytics or finance.
