Details for the Erosion Control Installer/Laborer:
  • $17.00/hr
  • 6:00A-6:00P, 8&-12-hour shifts depending on project needs

Job Duties for the Erosion Control Installer/Laborer Position:
  • Install BMPs such as silt fences, wattles, erosion control blankets, and inlet protection
  • Prepare sites, apply seed/mulch, and maintain existing erosion controls
  • Install geosynthetics and assist with hydroseeding
  • Operate equipment (skid steers, trenchers, hydroseeding, blowers)
  • Follow all safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications for and Desired Skills for the Erosion Control Installer/Laborer Position:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform heavy labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Construction or landscaping experience preferred
  • Must have a valid Driver License
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift
  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
